Use the supplier’s original text PDF. Scanned pages, password-protected files and unusual layouts may not be readable. “Not found” means the wording was not recognised, not that the SDS contains no information. Check important facts against the original page.

The converter does not create a COSHH assessment or decide whether controls are adequate. A COSHH assessment needs the work, exposure and controls as well as the SDS. The public COSHH pages provide guidance; do not treat the SDS summary as an issued assessment.
