For a non-hazardous load, use Waste transfer note: https://complyonsite.com/tools/waste-transfer-note
Choose the waste/EWC code, complete the parties and transfer details, then sign and download the PDF. Both parties can sign on the same device, or use the signing link for the other person’s phone. Hazardous waste needs the appropriate consignment note instead: https://complyonsite.com/tools/hazardous-waste-consignment-note
For Defra’s Receipt of Waste workbook, use https://complyonsite.com/tools/defra-receipt-of-waste-spreadsheet-checker
Start with Defra’s official .xlsx template, keeping its sheets and layout unchanged. Findings name the sheet and cell. Correct the values using your records, save as .xlsx and choose the file again. Download the working copy first if the checker offers supported corrections.
The checker does not submit the file to Defra. Passing does not guarantee acceptance. Hazardous waste, POPs and consignment-note cases are outside this checker’s scope. Keep the original file. Do not send confidential waste records in a support message.
